I love the chemistry in this family, and how easy they are to be around….
And I love that these portraits can show it to you. XO
Their yard doesn’t have much of a view, but we made the best of it. ;-)

Kim was a bridesmaid at a wedding I photographed last year, and I was so excited when she called me. She is the second bridesmaid from that wedding, who became one of my Brides. Such a high compliment!
Kim + Justin grew up in OC and wanted their session to be at the Dana Point Ocean...
My sister in law called me one day and asked if I would photograph her BFF’s engagement session. I think her words were, “Thank you for doing this. She’s so important to me.” I thought that was the sweetest thing ever – and, of course, I was totally happy to photograph Emily and Jeff. :-)

You’d think a 2 year old + downtown is a recipe for portrait session disaster, right? Not when you have super relaxed parents and a big sister (only 5) who has some kind of “old soul” calming presence just by looking at you.
Our toddler definitely was on the move, and even had a 1/2 second...
Bo and Ray are getting married next year on my birthday (cool!) in Maui (even cooler!), and I can’t wait to get there! They live up in the Bay area, but drove down to San Diego for their engagement session. They don’t know San Diego very well, but envisioned “buildings” in their portraits. We brainstormed...
The Hotel Del Coronado hosted their first ever (I still can’t believe that!) Halloween party this year. Hallo-”wine” & Spirits was an awesome cocktail party in the Garden, that flowed into an over-the-top dance club in the Crown Room. I LOVED the colors and decor and heard the dance floor was packed all night. :-)

What a beautiful Autumn wedding at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort. I didn’t get to meet Daria and Timo until the day of their wedding because, although Daria’s parents are in Coronado, the couple live in Germany! I was honored to be a part of their day, and they were very warm and gracious hosts....
Okay, her name is not Loganberry – it’s Logan – but Loganberry rolls right off my tongue. :-) Miss Logan’s parents are one of my wedding couples, and invited me to photograph Mom, Janine’s, belly just a few weeks ago. Now that Logan is here (4 weeks today!!), they asked me back for her newborn...
I said it all day long… If only they were cuter, they’d be more fun to photograph. ;-) I knew Sheya had studied ballet since forever, but only found out about her years modeling in Milan (sorry, Sheya, if I’m embarrassing you!) as I was finishing my coverage for the night. I’m glad I didn’t...
When my son, Ethan, found out I was going to photograph his Spanish teacher, he asked one of those “out of the mouths of babes” questions… “Mom, since you’re her photographer now, can you ask her to give me all stars on my work?” ;-) I gave him the hard news, but he got over...
